My whole project just went blank!

I'm new to Premier Pro. I was working on a project, just my second one, and nearly done with the video and my whole project just went away! The program didn't crash. I didn't click on anything. But my timeline, events list, transcript, everything disappeared. If I did something to make this happen, I'm very confused what it could have possibly been. I tried to undo, but nothing happened. I tried to close out and open it back up, the project was the same.

    Try resetting the Workspaces:
    Reset a workspace
    Reset the current workspace to return to its original, saved layout of panels.
    1. Do one of the following:
    • Click the Workspace menu icon and select Reset to Saved Layout.
    • Choose Window > Workspace > Reset to Saved Layout.

    I haven't had the issue again since. I would like to know how it happened and may have nothing to do with adobe.
