Hi maron47,

Can you provide details of your system, project, and source media so we can assist?

Thanks,

Hello,

Can you share details about the project and media?

Are you working in 4k? Long GOP source media? 10bit?

Any 3rd party effects or filters?

I would imagine that some formats play back fine?

In this case, the Quadro driver could also be a factor. There has been a lot of activity and newer driver releases.

It would be interesting to compare GPU acceleration to software only (project settings). If software has better playback performance, I would suspect the Quadro driver to be a factor.

If this ends up being the case, there are two new drivers available from Nvidia.

There is a standard driver and also a DCH / QNF driver available that has resolved issues for some users.  A full removal of existing drivers is often needed when updating to new drivers.

ok I will tell you the test I did it yesterday

I add 4k 30 p to my time line and then I start adding a lower third text up to 5 one all is fine then I add another lower third and here start lagging

I find some lower third doesn't effect on time line and it work smoothly and some make it lagging

cpu only not working good as gpu I tried it

Hi maron47,

I'm so sorry for the poor experience. It is certainly not an issue with the OS type. There are a few best practices and steps suggested in this article related to the performance issue, please try: Troubleshooting issues related to playback and performance in Premiere Pro CC

Let us know the status after testing.

Thanks,

Vidya
