Need a static title template with the ability to move it anywhere on the Program Monitor

Hi Aaron,

Here's some tips: when you create text with the text tool, I like to keep both the Essential Graphics panel and the Effect Controls panel open simultaneously - 2 views of the same title. The latter is better for controlling keyframes and timing animations.

Saving text pieces as a "motion graphics template" is a great time saver as is creating "styles" to apply to further pieces of text to maintain the same look and feel as other text in your project.

I'd hate to think these aren't already features. Hopefully someone can just point me in the right direction.

I apologize that I didn't read your request closely enough. Let's see if I can help.

It sounds like there may be a small confusion between text that is created by automatic transcription and standard text. They are two different things with similar controls.

• New Title Creation Issue: You wish to create a new Title that does not animate from an existing template, however, most all of them animate.
  • Solutions: Search for "Lower Third" in the Essential Graphics panel under "Browse" and this will provide a variety of static text generators that you can stylize and create a new template for, if you like. Another possible solution would be to create a new title from scratch by clicking on the Program Monitor with the "T" tool from the toolbar. These are static titles by default.
• Moving Titles out of Title Safe: You are being locked out of freely moving text because, it sounds like you might be dragging a caption created from automatic transcripton or otherwise. These captions are different than standard text objects that are created from templates or the Title tool. You cannot freely drag these around the screen, unfortunately. I've seen others have this issue and it's probably very frustrating.
