Need Help Editing the audio and video headers in the timeline

In the timeline, the left area that displays the audio and video track information (Lock icon, mute, solo etc) takes up a lot of width space with blank spots....
1. is there a way to reduce the width of that area.

2. Also, I'm aware of the Customize Audio header feature, but I can't figure out how to use it to remove items, only to add items. Like if I want to remove the keyframe buttons from the audio header, how do I do that?

Thanks!

You cannot remove buttons

The audio header has 4 rows: just move them to the bottom row.

What is the audio header?

1) No, there isn't.

2) Right-click on the header block itself, you see some options there. But also check the three-bar "hamburger" menu for the Timeline panel, and for the Sequences. There are those three areas where options are splayed out.
