Need Help- generic error message when replacing with After Effects comp

Hello, I'm having problems importing a clip into After Effects.  I looked but the info was limited.  Here's the screens I'm getting-

Below is what automatically pops up in After Effects

And then underneath After Effects, back in Premiere, I get this error:

This happens in all the projects I have going so far.  Also even using clips previously rendered by these two programs.  All my programs are up to date, have only had these programs for 3 months, no current updates.  Running Windows 8.1 64bit on an MSI laptop i7-4700HQ, 16gb ram, Nvidia Geforce GTX 765M

Also I'm pretty new to these programs so I'm not sure if it's just something I've overlooked...
