New CPU and GPU, black screen render crash

Hello,

I just got a new CPU and GPU and noticed that my Premiere Pro isn't working properly anymore. I can normally open and create projects and import media, edit media, create timelines, scrub through the timeline and such but as soon as I want to render the timeline 'in to out' it black screens my monitor. My keyboard and mouse turn off but the computer itself stays on and I have to unplug the power supply to restart. Everything else on the computer runs smoothly and without any problems, only Adobe is having issues.

I've tried several things already:

- Reinstalling Premiere Pro

- Restarting computer

- Reinstalling Creative Cloud

- Tried different Premiere Pro versions

- Reset Presets and Settings

- Deleting Media Cache

- Using different files in the timeline

- Using Creative Cloud Diagnostics (showed no issues)

I'm pretty frustrated and don't know what to do anymore. If anyone can help or had the same issue and knows what to do please let me know!

- Windows is updated.

- GPU: Radeon RX 7900 XT Hellhound

- CPU: AMD AM4 Ryzen 9 5900X

- 64GB RAM

- New power unit with 750W

(I tried using a two other cables as well and it worked again once but then it crashed again)

Please help!!

!  PROBLEM SOLVED  !

After several hours and days of searching for the problem, I was finally able to find the cause for the problem and solve it.

I worked with a professional. We reinstalled Windows and tried the old GPU but nothing solved the problem.

THE CAUSE:

Turned out there was a rather rare problem with the mainboard that didn't completely get along with the GPU and CPU.

THE SOLUTION:

We changed the mainboard and now rendering in Premiere Pro is working again! It's lagging a bit sometimes when I work in the timeline but I think that's because I now use a relatively cheap mainboard.

Thanks again for everyone who helped!!

(Unfortunately the Adobe Support was a big disappointment.)

Thank you for the reply.

How do I do that?

also, creating a new windows user with administrator privileges can sometimes help troubleshoot

are you using the games driver for your gpu?  If so, that may be the problem.  Install the studio driver and see if that helps.

I use Windows 10 Pro, Version 22H2.

I'm not running any testing software or anything like that. At least not that I'm aware of.

Is there a way for me to check that? Anything else on the PC is running smoothly, even big games and such.

Thanks in advance!

That's a tough one. Are you running any testing software. Head up displays, to show frame-rates, fan speeds, etc are quite problematic. Make sure you are not running things to do with new builds, etc. Windows 10, 11? Old build of Windows? No new drive, clean install. You've often have to look for things like this.
