New CPU and GPU, black screen render crash
Hello,
I just got a new CPU and GPU and noticed that my Premiere Pro isn't working properly anymore. I can normally open and create projects and import media, edit media, create timelines, scrub through the timeline and such but as soon as I want to render the timeline 'in to out' it black screens my monitor. My keyboard and mouse turn off but the computer itself stays on and I have to unplug the power supply to restart. Everything else on the computer runs smoothly and without any problems, only Adobe is having issues.
I've tried several things already:
- Reinstalling Premiere Pro
- Restarting computer
- Reinstalling Creative Cloud
- Tried different Premiere Pro versions
- Reset Presets and Settings
- Deleting Media Cache
- Using different files in the timeline
- Using Creative Cloud Diagnostics (showed no issues)
I'm pretty frustrated and don't know what to do anymore. If anyone can help or had the same issue and knows what to do please let me know!
- Windows is updated.
- GPU: Radeon RX 7900 XT Hellhound
- CPU: AMD AM4 Ryzen 9 5900X
- 64GB RAM
- New power unit with 750W
(I tried using a two other cables as well and it worked again once but then it crashed again)
Please help!!
