New method I invented to organize footage.Transparent Layers

I came up with a new method that works well. I didn't see this anywhere else so I figured I would post it here.

What I do is I use Transparent Layers to label clips rather than creating subclips. This leaves the project window free from more clips than needed. Everything is labeled in the timeline. I got sick of markers not rippling even with ripple edit enabled for markers. What I do is I stack a transparent layer above each video clip and label it what i want and drag it out. I can label multiple clips this way. I then go one step further sometimes making nests. Then I have pancake timelines in the middle of my edit and I just select all the clips/layers and drag to the new timeline. This way I can search the timeline for clips. I don't need markers or even subclips.

Here is a screenshot.

I think you replaced the clutter in the project and moved it to the timeline.

Fascinating way of labeling things for clarity while working a sequence.
