New timeline icons

I genuinely cannot believe how disgusting the new icons for timelines are. Why does Adobe insist on continuously ruining its programs with every subsequent update? What was wrong with the way it looked before? Why is there no option to return to the previous version's appearance? Seriously considering switching to a different program, this is getting ridiculous.

What exactly are you so disgusted by? "Timeline icons" could mean a number of different things.

I mean, the new "default" has a lot of really gross puke greens for audio and nested sequences. The weird contrast of wavelengths against the icons. The giant icons for transition effects. Its just a very unnecessary change that didn't enhance the look of the program.

Sure, a lot of stuff going on there. I think it's important to note that Adobe doesn't just randomly change interface elements without a lot of thought and preparation. There is research and reasoning behind these changes. Major changes like this are in the beta first so there is a chance to see them before being implemented. You can set and reset the label colors to a number of different options so it's worth checking the settings for that. Change can be difficult but it's worth noting the functionality hasn't changed and functionality has been added on some cases, such as with the new audio fade handles.

I didn't think it would be under labels. Figured it would be in Appearance.
