No Audio during Capture

I am using Premiere Pro 2020 and a Blackmagic DeckLink Mini Recorder 4K to capture Betacam SP footage via SDI on a Windows 10 PC.  While capturing I see a video preview but there is no audio although I can see the meter moving in the timeline window.  When I playback the captured clip the video and audio are fine.  So the sound is getting to Premiere but I can't hear it while capturing.  Is there a setting to fix this?  I've gone through all of the preferences and could not find anything.

I have not been able to fix it and have not seen any effort by Adobe to assist with the issue.  My assumption is that video tape formats are no longer supported by Adobe's products which is unfortunate.

hmm.  Haven't had to capture from tape in premiere but I can remember in finalcutpro 7 (and earlier iterations) you had to either change your capture settings which could cause problems cause it increased system overhead while capturing which if I remember correctly was called "preview audio" or monitor the audio directly off the deck.  Maybe that's the solution...

Thanks for the reply.  I have been using headphones to get around this but it is a bit silly since I use my speakers once I start editing the clips.  It just seems that if I can preview the video while capturing I should also be able to hear the sound as well.  And I would expect a lot more overhead from a video preview than sound.
