No audio track for a capture card .avi file

Hey guys,

since yesterday I experienced this problem for the first time: my recorded .avi file from my capture card (Blackmagic Intensity Shuttle) won't show any audio track in Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015 anymore. The file was recorded as a avi motion jpeg with PCM S24 LE codec and the audio plays perfectly fine on VLC media player but won't show in the programme. I've never had this problem before and I didn't change any of my settings and also didn't update the capture card firmware or programmes. The only thing that happened in between was the Windows fall update.

I already tried deleting the Media Cache and the Media Cache Files, renaming them or moving them to a different location but nothing worked for me. Of course I also already restarted the programme and my computer.

My system is on Windows 10 Pro.

I hope to find a solution soon because this issue is really interfering with my workflow 😕😕
