Has anyone had any luck getting closed captions to work in PP 2020?

I've tried every caption type, and open captions is the only one that works.

I tested some closed captions and set it up with 708 but when i check the settings it had been changed to Teletext.

You need to check as it is not always the case.

I'll check again when I start work in 3 hours.

Make sure your captions have the same resolution as your sequence.

See Modify clip.

Yes, the frame size and frame rate do match the sequence. These will match by default when you create a new caption clip.

What is not working? You can't create a Closed Caption stream, you can't import, or what? Doing some tests and ran into my own problems!

I can creat the caption clip, but when placed on a sequence, the text is not visible on screen.

The layer is turned on in the sequence, and the view captions button is switched on in the program monitor.

As I said before, open captions are the only type of captions that work. All others are invisible on the program monitor.
