No Dialogue find - Auto Transcript not working

Hey, since a couple of days Premiere Pro Auto Transcript is not working anymore. It is showing me “No dialogue found” even if there is a clear dialogue. 

I tried to change audio from mono to stereo, cleared the programme cache, deinstalled and reinstalled the programme again (as well as several times restarting) - nothing works.  Also not in the Beta Version.

 

 

I am using the Premiere Pro 26.2.on a HP Spectre laptop. My colleague with a Mac has no problem transcribing my files. 

 

Can somebody please help I am kinda hopeless at this point.

    Hi Leena,

    Thanks for following up. This looks like a known transcription issue we've seen in the 26.2 releases, where transcription starts but then stops and reports “No dialogue found” even though the audio contains clear dialogue.

    As a workaround, several users have reported that rolling back to Premiere 26.0.1 restores transcription.

    There is an existing bug report tracking this behavior here:

    Since it works fine on your colleague’s Mac, I’d check the Windows-specific audio input and permissions first. Also try importing the same clip into a fresh project and running transcription there to rule out a project-specific issue.

    Make sure your audio tracks (A1, A2) are selected in the timeline, as Premiere only transcribes targeted tracks. Check the clip’s audio channels (Modify → Audio Channels) and set them correctly, preferably to mono. Also confirm the transcription language is set properly.   txtag

    Thanks for the answer. Unfortunately, it is still not working. Premiere recognizes the audio, ask me to transcribe it and then just stops and says “no dialogue found” :(
