No New NVIDIA GeForce 900Mseries but Premiere Pro thinks so
I have a Surface Book 1. My research said this laptop would run adobe products smoothly and when it does, it is, but in recent months it keeps telling me to update my Nvidia driver. I have a surface book 1 with a Nvidia GeForce 940M GPU and Intel integrated 520 card. I went to project settings and checked the graphics has mercury playback graph. accel. on (openCL), and when I take it off it still says I should update. Windows Update finds no update. Nvidia website has no update for the studio driver version. I don't know enough about computers to feel confident installing the game ready driver vers (which is the main thing I care about nvidia for). Today video playback has flashing black bars on the left edge or top edge of the playback box, skipping frames, and just making it impossible to edit properly. The last driver file shows from 2018. I'm a poor film student. Please help.
