Question

No option button on bottom left of PP Import window: trying to import picture files for a hyperlapse

Very frustrating! I have been trying to import pictures into PP for a hyperlapse. However, when I go into the PP Window to import the picutre files there is no option button on the bottom left.

All instructions state to pick the first picture in the sequence, check options button and  sequence box, then import. This should import all pictures as a sequence from the 1st picture in the file.

Wasted hours (google, youtube-nothing about this!) trying to figure out how I get the PP import window with a options button.

Please help. Thanks!

Are you on Mac or PC? I am PC, and get the "Image Sequence" checkbox without using an Options button.

If you are PC, and see the Image Sequence checkbox, just select it and ignore the Options button instruction.

As mentioned, a screenshot might help.

Here is the current help page:

https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/using/importing-still-images.html

I see no reference to an options button, and I see no option button in any version of PR that I just checked.

Try following the help instructions and see if that doesn't work just right.

Hello,

Reviewing YouTube videos on hyperlapse rendering using Premiere Pro, all of the PP import windows have an Option button in the lower left, also the sequence checkbox, and the import button so you can import the sequence of your picture files that automatically gets converted into a “video” file, that you can continue to process in PP.

Appreciate the link to help in Adobe.

Stay safe!

Thomas

Make sure you use a supported format and not something like RAW.

Can you post a screen shot of what you are seeing? Are your still image files consecutively numbered in the exact same numbering convention?

Hello!

This is the screen shot-no option button on the bottom left. All files are numbered sequentially from 1-200. Thus, only able to “open” into PP, not able to “import” as a sequence file.

Thanks and stay safe!

Aloha,

Thomas
