Hello, Adobe Premiere Pro doesn't make any sound so i went to check the audio hardware and it says that the speakers of my computer don't work but when I use youtube, for exemple, they do. I am in a hurry to finish editing my video so I hope I will get an answer as soon as possible, thank you and have a good day.

    Hi anissahb,

Sorry to hear this. Please send a screenshot of the Audio Hardware preferences window (Preferences > Audio Hardware). Also, are you using any external audio interface with your system? If so, please try to switch the Default Input/Output in the Audio Hardware preferences window to system default audio Input/Output source and check if you get any audio playback.

    Thanks,

Same issue, it began in May. It self updated and had problems sending the audio output to the wrong device. Ever time Premiere opened this happened and had to be manually corrected, and close/open to get it working. At some point in April, it wasn´t working anymore for some reason.

I see the vumeter working with audio, and all, but it just doesn´t play. I tried using external soundcards but nothing works. I need to solve this THIS WEEK (I have to edit some clips).

    Please help.

    Thanks.

If you go to Preferences > Playback, is the Audio Device set to Adobe Desktop Audio?
