No sound when working on Cineform proxies 8 audio channels

I hope this is not a silly question...

We have defined the following proxy workflow:

  1. Material MXF 4K XAVC 25p with 8 audio channels (captured from Sony FS-7) is ingested on our storage. Proxies are generated using cineform codec with 8 audio channels.
  2. Projects and timelines are created on workstations connected to the storage. Then, medias are made offline.
  3. Proxies are copied on portable hard-drives along with the saved projects. Editors can work on laptop from anywhere...

Unfortunately, we have a problem when there is only sound on audio channel 3 and 4. Then no audio is available when we are working on proxies only.

I cannot figure out why this problem occurs... Cineform .mov have sound when they are played in a separate player...

I assume this is a audio mapping problem but I cannot solve it... Any clues? What am I doing wrong?

Thank you very much for your help.

    Correct answer jean-christophel67199152

    Solved:

When opening the project on remote editor laptop do:

In "link media" windows, choose offline all

In "project windows", select all clips, choose Proxy/Attach proxies and select the correct proxy.

Premiere relink all clip accordingly and audio tracks are mapped.
