Normalizing audio in a MP4 video as a batch process
I have just over 2300 music videos where I have tried multiple normalizer softwares with various success. The best option I have found is Adobe Premiere where I can normalize the gain to -3 DB. But doing so manually on more than 2000 files is time consuming.
I need a batch process of some kind. I tried using the normalizing presets like EBU R128 in Media Encoder, but that adjusts the volume as it plays so it sounds like a compressor. I also tried to look at Audition, and it did support batch processing. But it split the video into 3 files. One peak file, one mp3 and one video file.
When I make these videos, I usually import the original video file into after effects and apply effects/text and change the viewing format before I save the project and let media encoder do the work of making the final mp4 file.
