Not able to apply effects on Vector Text from Properties Panel 2025 Update

Hi Folks!

 

I am probably making a mistak but I git a handling problem with the Preiere 2025 Update. As soon as I try to apply an efect from the effects panel (tansform, drop shadow, horizontal flip...) to a text in the sequence which I created within the new properties panal the effect won't work/ be vsisble on the taxt or graphic.

 

It does not help if I have an eye an layer hirarchy.. The hierachy cannot be adjusted in the effects panel regarding in the way that if you thoro the effect on the graphic/text in the tineline it will be displayed in the verctor section in the effects oanel and cannot be pushed to the the video section.

 

I also tried to bring in an adjustment layer to apply the effects on the text...also did nt work... As the effects variety is very poor within the properties panel and I also don't want to re-build evertything in the 2024 version (where it definitely works as supposed which I tested) it would be just great If someone from the community could help me out of this scenario 🙂

I'm guessing your issue is the whole "context aware" thing.

 

When you add something to (say) a graphic, you then need to click on that thing on the screen to 'select' it. Then the Properties panel will show all the options to modify that.

 

And you have to click on the thing you want to change in the Program monitor to see those options show in the Properties panel.

Thanks for your answer. But I don't think you understood my problem...of course I selected the graphic in the player monitor...but still I need to put my selcted effect somewhere...so I put it on to the clip in the timeline (as I did in 2024 version and before...the effect (e.g. horizontal flip ) appears in the effects contol panel but does not show any "effect"... same procedure in 2024 with essential graphics works just fine.. Sorry, If I got you wrong, but then please share a screenshot that explains specifically waht you wanted to describe. Thanks 🙂
