Not being able to click on anything in Premiere Pro

So I just updated to Premiere Pro version 15.1 and after I do something in my timeline, sometimes I cant click on the video and audio in my timeline so I have to press of effects and then back on the time line which is a short term solution for this. Also, sometimes I can't click on the effects panel or anything else so I have to restart Premiere Pro. These problems just arised when I updated to version 15.1.
