Not exporting right size

I'm trying to export a video using premiere, I shot it and edited it t 1280x720 and when I went to export it, it will only allow me to export in 352x288 which I don't want. I go down to change it under basic video settings and when I put in the right size it says to lower the frame rate which I don't want either. How do I change the size without lowering the frame rate?

I'm using version the latest version of premiere as of August 2017

I'm suspicious of either your sequence settings or what you're choosing on export. Can you do the following...

  • Open the sequence you are exporting, choose menu option Sequence/Sequence Settings and grab a screenshot and post it here?
  • Go to the export screen you are using, CTRL-M for example, and grab/post a screenshot of the settings there.
  • Go the original source footage in your project panel, right click, and choose properties, copy/paste the text in the properties which have frame rate, resolution and all that to your post with above screenshots.

The initial export options will be guided by the sequence settings. That isn't to say the default export settings aren't incorrect and just need to be selected correctly... so that's why the above two bullets are there. The last bullet conveys the basic nature of source footage... it's not comprehensive but it's a good thing to double-check.

I assume your input footage is h.264 mp4 or mov or some such... and that you want to export h.264... but that's only because I'm projecting my use-cases onto your scenario... ... can you let us know more about how you want to export this so the responses can help you choose the right options?
