Not saved all edits after exporting

Hi new user here and thanks in advance for advise

 

i created a video, added text, effects, cut in places and added transitions. It exported perfectly. On playback I wanted to just move text as thought it would be better. However on reopening the file absolutely no effects, text or where I trimmed was saved and it was all as though I had just imported raw files. This was saved before exporting. I can only see the clips in timeline and none of the edits. Looked in auto save files and not one of those has it either. Please help! I'm likely doing something silly.

    When you first re-open Premiere Pro, go to File > Open Recent.

    The project file you were working in should be in that list.

    Once opened, use the Filter Bin Content text field at the top of the Project panel to filter for "Sequence".  Go through each Sequence that is listed.  As long as you saved prior to exporting, one of them should have your edit ready to be revised.
