Old effects removed. Substitutes?

Hey everyone

The recent Pr update has removed the old obsolete effects such as Grid lines, Color Balance and Circle. How do I achieve those effects in my video?
Adobe suggested using apps such as Ps and Ai.
Is there a way to get the grid lines and circle effect without jumping to and fro across applications?

Please help
Thanks

As MeyerPj has so capably pointed out, for many previous uses of the old Grid effect, the Reference lines work as well or better and actually often faster. For some Grid uses, they don't work.

Circle effect ... not sure what you mean there. You can create circles with graphics quickly, but that may not be what you're talking about. Nearly cryptic posts, lacking details, can be a source of mis-communications.

Color Balance was not a particularly solid tool mathematically, and potentially reduced the image to 8 bit. Was not GPU accelerated either, and like the other Obsolete effects, could pull the whole processing chain off the GPU at times. I've not used that hot mess in a decade.

The version in Lumetri is vastly better and safer for your pixels and processing sanctity. And thankfully Lumetri doesn't put an added drag on the system simply adding it for one or two sections, like it did when first introduced. They stopped that behavior six-seven years ago.

Everyone's mileage always varies ...

I suggest reading thru the thread below, and look for my posts.

Don't stop at the beginning.
