EVERYTIME you do a firmware update it's like I have to RELEARN Premiere all over again! SO FRUSTRATING! Been using 25.5 for weeks and smooth sailing (which is weird) Then, you UPDATE AGAIN! Now, everything is different. Render in to out is gone, when I click I for in and O for out it highlights the very top of the sequence not my file sequence. NONE of my 3rd party toolkits work like the Premieregal Toolkit, I'm SO OVER IT adobe!!!!!!!!

Turn off Show Work Area Bar.

In this way you can stick with the version that's works without any problems.

When you go for a controlled update, you can check everything first.

Ouch, but huh ... I take it you updated the Premiere version, which of course is a user choice ... did you also on launch then try dumping cache files? That can often help with update issues.

Hold shift on launch, then select delete cache files ...
