I got the above error message when trying to import a .PSD file into the Essential Graphics panel on Premiere Pro CC 2019. Here is a screencast of what I'm trying to do: Help! I can't import this PSD into Premiere Pro!

I have tried chatting w/an Adobe rep. I made sure there are no blank layers or anything, and am out of ideas here. Any help you can provide would be HUGE!

I am seeing the same in the EGP but not if I import via the Project window.

as im not an expert its taken me hours to figure out why i cannot import my photoshop file.

didnt know EGP was the Essential Graphic Panel... which i been using to try an import my photoshop file, so for anyone else encountering this issue:

EGP means Essential Graphic Panel.

import your photoshop file via the Project Panel.... then follow the guide below
