Open captions are not showing on Premiere 2020

Hi people, 

 

I need some help. Open captions are not showing on Premiere 2020. I can see them on my workspace but not on the video.

Could anyone help ?

Have you enabled the captions in the program monitor? The directions for this are in the 'Display captions in the Source Monitor and Program monitor' a little down this page:
