Open Captions Not Appearing After Render (Latest PPro CC 17)

This is my first time trying Captions for subtitles.

I've opted to go with Open Captions for this particular project. All was good, easy to use, fast. It appears well on the program monitor.

When exporting, under Export > Captions, I've chosen the option to 'Burn Into Video' and chose stream format to 'Open Captions.'

But when I render, the captions don't come out.

Please advise me where I'm going wrong!
