Open Elements .prel project with Premiere Pro

I have Premiere Elements 15 and I have to do some simple rough editing (I'm the film-maker) for the final editor that will be using Premiere Pro on a Mac.

She cannot open the .prel files. Is there a workaround or do I have to get Premiere Pro at my end?
