OpenAI TTS Problem with Premiere

I am having the worst time trying to bring OpenAI TTS .wav files into Adobe Premiere. ChatGPT is telling me it is likely a “headers” problem. Gemini is saying the same thing. It is also suggesting I export from OpenAI TTS to .mp3.

The .wav files work perfectly well when I use them in Adobe Express. Yet I cannot use them in Adobe Premiere. I cannot drop them on to the time line. WHen I use the comma kay to add one, the clip spans the entire timeline and does not play anything.

I tried increasing from 24hz to 44hz in Media Encoder but that did not work either.

Right now I have to convert all .wav to mp3 in order to work with them.

Anyone having the same issues or have any insight?

Any help appreciated because I need to create about 60 videos for social media.

Hi,

Thanks for the message. Which codec are these files using? Can you inspect them with MediaInfo (shareware, but good for this sort of stuff). I hope we can help you.

Thanks,
Kevin
