Question

Order of sequences messed up each time after close / reopening

I am working in Pro 2022 version 22.4.0. Build 57.

I have 22 sequences that I have in a particular order A1, A2, B1, etc...from left to right.

When I save my project and open it the next day, the order of sequences has changed. So now when I need to chnage something in sequence F1, I need to look wehre it is instead of naturally know where it is.

Or I have to rearrange the sequences again.

Both is extremely annoying.

It happens in a 'standard workspace' and in my own made Workspace

Any idea on what causes this? And how to prevent this from happening?

I see this as well and have seen it for years, iow that panels "travel" around in the workspace and opens up in diffrerent panes. Timelines re-order themselves and the Project panel moves around here and open in the wrong pane, forcing me to move it everytime i open a project. Resetting the Workspace don´t work. Resetting the Preferences don´t work either. Unfortunately i don´t know a way to prevent it.

Hi Averdahl, thank you for your answer. Too bad you experience this also.

For these more elaborate projects I used to work in cc17 until May of this year. But I recently made a new editing PC and decided to go with only the newer version. I wish I had the installation file for cc17.

Now we can only hope that more people let Adobe know how much time this costs them. For me in this particular project I think it will amount to hrs of extra work and agony.
