Overall sequence volume seems to have changed

I'm trying to figure out what happened. I have a duplicated sequence. In the new one, the overall audio mix is as expected, everything hitting proper levels.

In the older sequence, the individual clip audio is the same, the mix balance between dialogue and music seems the same, but the overall volume is peaking. With the result that I have to use my external speaker volume to turn it down when I'm going between the 2 sequences.

Is anyone aware of a master volume that I could have accidentally tripped to cause this? If so, it would be an interesting feature as well. But one I'm not aware of, or have used.

Have you checked the mix track at the bottom of the audio timeline.

Another way of describing this issue: my ears and the Audio Meters tool tell me it's over-peaking. But the Audio Clip Mixer shows everything looking pretty normal and identical to the earlier duplicated sequence.

OMG that's it. I haven't used that previously. Thank you so much, I knew it had to be something simple like that but couldn't find it with a google search. Much appreciated Ann Bens!
