Overlaying multiple clips onto one background

So i need help with overlaying my clips onto the same background. I have my main image in V1 and i want to have multiple images to after each other. But the problem is when i place a second image on the background, then the first image goes away. I want all the images to stay on the background. So does anybody what to do in this situation?

If a higher track completely fills the screen, it will completely cover lower tracks, unless the actual image is smaller or contains an alpha track (transparency).

Can you post screenshots of your timeline and of your images?

Please include the pixel size of your sequence and of the images.

I think i have figured it out, by just making more V1, right now i have up to V9 on my timeline. I have decreased the size of the images that i use onto the background. I just want to know if there was an easier way than making more and more V's on the timeline.

This is the method that i am going for

You will need a new track for each image, as you have discovered.

If you want to clean up the timeline and have fewer video tracks showing, you could nest some or all of the video tracks.
