Question

Overwrite shortcut only working when source monitor is active

You use to be able to use the overwrite (or splice) shortcut no matter what window was the active window. But now, it only works if the source monitor is the active window. If the timeline is the active window and you try to overwrite (using the shortcut) it just copies and pastes the entire timline again. It's annoying because now there is an additional step to overrite/splice into the timeline...make sure source window is active, then overwrite/splice. You use to just be able to overwrite/splice no matter what was active. Hope this makes sense, its small but in the interest of speed, its annoying.

Make sure your track is source patched.

It's defintiely a bug, because sometimes it will work, and sometimes it won't. I have to click between source and timeline a few times, and then it will work going forward. Just hoping I don't have to do this every time I open the project or make a new sequence.
