Panels randomly go black, scattered and unresponsive in Premiere Pro 2026

Hi everyone,
For the past few days Premiere Pro keeps giving me black, unresponsive panels, and it's getting worse. It's not just one panel — multiple panels go black and scattered, and I can't click anything in them. Some panels appear behind the main Premiere window (I have to minimize Premiere just to see them), and sometimes a panel even floats loose on the desktop, fully black and detached from Premiere (see screenshots).
This happens even in a brand-new, empty project, so it's not a corrupted project file.
What happens:
- Multiple panels turn black, scattered and unclickable.
- Some appear behind the main window; sometimes one floats loose on the desktop.
- Reproduces on a new project.
What I've tried (inconsistent results):
- Reset Workspace / "Reset to Saved Layout"
- Cleared Media Cache — sometimes it helps, sometimes not
- Restarting the PC — sometimes it fixes it, sometimes it doesn't
- Updated my GPU driver to the latest
- Updated Premiere Pro to the latest version
My main suspicion: I recently started using a new Logitech MX Master 4 mouse with Logi Options+ installed. I have a feeling that software might be conflicting with Premiere's panels — has anyone experienced Logi Options+ / MX Master causing black or detached panels in Premiere?
System specs:
- OS: Windows 11 Pro (build 26200)
- CPU: Intel Core i7-12700K
- RAM: 32 GB
- GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5070 Ti (latest driver) + Intel UHD 770 iGPU enabled
- Premiere Pro: latest version (
[26.3) - Recent hardware change: new Logitech MX Master 4 mouse

Any help would be hugely appreciated. Thanks!
