PC damaged in Storm Adobe unwilling to reactivate Production Premium cs6

I have 2 pcs damaged in an electrical storm and unusable. Both using Production Premium cs6.  Hence I cannot deactivate licence no longer in use in order to reinstall on the new PC.

Unfortunately Adobe wanted me to go to CC which does not interest me.  They also seemed to say that they will not assist and that I should have deactivated the licences prior to the storm.

I really am having issues with my work now and adobe are not being helpful.

Any guideance is appreciated.

Thankyou Ann. Yes if the product is still being monitored it should still be active. When its no longer supported or monitored restrictions should be lifted or the product is useless to paying customers

Try and deactivate your registered software in your account at Adobe.com.

Plans and payments / activated devices.

Once cleared, you can install on the new computer.

Hello @truckrod,

I read your note. I'm sorry to hear about this situation. Getting older versions reinstalled is very difficult, even in CC land. Support likely has its hands tied because the activation servers are no longer available. If your case is still open, please PM me your case number.

Thanks,
Kevin

As far as I know activation servers for CS6 and CS5 are still active.

Support should be able to reset activation.
