Pixelated video once exported

Hi - have just started using Adobe PP CC 2019, having migrated from iMovie - what a leap! Am using a 2019 3.7Ghz i5 iMac with 40Gb of RAM. It handles PP fine, and the video looks great when played within PP, howver when I export it (and I've tried 3 diferent settings, parts (and only parts) of the video look pixelated. I've used 3 cameras (4K drone, Sony A6300, GoPro Hero 7 Black) all shooting 4K footage. The odd thing is that most if the footage is from the GoPro, and most of if looks fine once exported - there's just the odd cliup that looks really bad. Am wondering if I could have inadvertantly applied/adjusted the quality of a clip? I've tried to determine if I've done that, however it doesn't appear that I have.

Attached is a screen grab of the latest export setting.

I'm also wondering, thinking of the next video, if I should alter any settings on the 3 source devices (or in PP itself) prior to staring building the next video. The reason I ask, is that some if the sources seem to output in a different size frame (drone in video mode, GoPro in TimeWarp video mode - but not normal video mode) - which means I have black lines to deal with in PP.

Well, just the obvious thing. Why is your source sequence such an odd size?

That would explain the 'black lines' cause your source sequence is in a different apect ratio to your output sequence. It's your source sequence which seems suspect and is an odd size.

Take a good source clip, and drop it onto a blank timeline. Like your 4k drone clip. I'm still delivering in 1080p so I use a 1080p source sequence even though my main camera shoots in UHD 4k. So if you want to export to 1080p, use that as to edit with, (you can zoom in 50% without loosing quality). But if you want 4k output, then make sure you source sequence is 4k also. You can check / change those settings using the Sequence menu.
