Playback monitor showing up across both monitors

My playback monitor glitches out and spreads the image across both of my monitors. Anybody else have this happen? Just seems to forget that the monitors are separated, makes it impossible to do anything im Premiere, and sometimes the glitch will still be there when I open the program up again. Usually happens when I'm switch to some other software like chrome or file explorer

ohhhhhh,,,,

I'm not as advanced as you..... I only run one program at a time on my computer(s). I VERY rarely even 'edit in photoshop' or ' edit in audition' ... cause I'd rather just work on the original source stuff seperately.

So I don't use other programs either... during this time of editing... I don't think my computer could handle that much drain on its resources ...

years ago had some problems with 2 HP monitors ( out of nvidia DVI ports ) using win 10 and then hooking up a TV via HDMI from same card.... something to do with mirror or something... I forget....

Main thing is to use similar ports and discreet ports for different signals out ( it's all sRGB out ( or YRGB in nodes ) and try to have a reference that is close to SMPTE standards.

I'm using 2 Nvidia Display Ports. Playback monitor is 4k with 2k monitor for timeline, etc..

Disabling "video output when it background" at least makes it possible to fix the glitch by hitting windows key and going to another program.

I can get this also. It's been filed, but I've not seen anything else on it.

Annoying, yes.
