playback on second monitor. also: lumetri color

To get my project to play back on a second monitor, I check off my second monitor under "preferences>playback" when I turn on Premiere.  But I have to do it every time I turn it on - the box always returns to unchecked after I close the program.  Is there a way to make this a default setting?

Also, I almost always want to add Lumetri Color to my effects on my clips.  Is there a way to default so that Lumetri Color is always applied to a clips that I drop into a project?

The first question ... save the workspace with the Transmit monitor "on", should save the setting.

Second question ... do you mean "available" or that you have a preset of settings in Lumetri applied?

Of course, in the Color workspace, Lumetri is always "up" as those are the active controls in that workspace. So anything you do is of course applied to the active/selected clip. There's no need to drag the Lumetri effect to a timeline to start working.

If you have a standard set of work/settings you do on everything, save as a Preset, then select as many clips as you wish, drag/drop the preset onto them.
