playhead position inconsistent in version 24.1.0

When I switch in between sequences during editting, the playhead is changed from where it was in time in that sequence. So for instance I was editting at 01:01:50:00 in sequence 1 and at 01:05:00:00 in sequence 2., The when I switch from sequence 1 to 2, the playhead time indicator (where you are in the sequence) suddenly shifts back. This appears to happen randomly, but perhaps there is a pattern, I havnt discovered that yet. It is extremely anoying, since I have to search again for the specific time in the timeline where I was editting. It kills my workflow. This also happens when I cut something (like text from a subtitle or some other content from the timeline), all of the sudden the timeline brings you to antoher point in time. It is very difficult, near impossoble for me to work like this, I hope there will be a fix for this soon.
