Question

Plugins not working on MacBook but work on iMac

Hi, I'm trying to install the Black Ops plugins RescueMatteCleaner.plugin and RescueMatte.plugin. I am using the aescripts + aeplugins aplication.

The plugins work on my iMac. They do not load in Premiere on my MacBook, instead popping up with an error message at start stating the plugins can not be found. Message:

"Video Filter missing: Rescue Matte Filler

Video Filter missing: Rescue Matte Cleaner"

The plugin files are in the same spot on both my computers: "/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/7.0/MediaCore/Black ops effects/RescueMatteCleaner.plugin"

In both scenarios I am using the most up to date version of Premiere.

Computer specs if you need them:

iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015),  4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7, AMD Radeon R9 M390 2 GB

MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2021), Apple M1 Max

Both version 12.0.1

In the "Plugin Loading.log" file located in Library > Application Support > Adobe > Premiere Pro > 22.0 the information on these plugins is the same besides some numbers at the end. Example:

iMac: PluginNameList::AddFilePath - added "/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/7.0/MediaCore/Black ops effects/RescueMatteCleaner.plugin" 13608.6

MBP: PluginNameList::AddFilePath - added "/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/7.0/MediaCore/Black ops effects/RescueMatteCleaner.plugin" 2588.51

At this point I'm lost for what to try next. I have tried putting this plugin in every other folder you'd think a plugin goes, namely folders in Applications > Adobe Premiere Pro > Adobe Premiere Pro.app > Contents > Plug-Ins, but no luck.

Please let me know if anyone has encountered this before. I wonder if it's an Apple M1 Max chip thing??

Thanks!

Looks like a system related issue and not a Premiere one: contact vendor.
