hello, im trying to put a 185 aspect ratio to my movie, so i downloaded a package of formats ( as PNG files), the problem is how can i uncheck the alpha channel so premiere pro cs6 reads it? or can anyone help me with a better solution?

    I recommend another method.

    Change the sequence settings to 1920 x 1040.  When you export at the normal 1080, PP will automatically add the black bars.

    sorry i wanna enable alpha channel not uncheck it

    You could just  make a matte in Premiere Titler using two black rectangles.

    Use your png clip as a guide.

    Other wise ...go into photo shop and mask out the centre of your png and export it with transparency.

    my photoshop is not importing any dng file, ik i can do it as matte but i want it to be exact. The problem remains with the alpha chanel that  cant find
