There's also the 'go to last frame' keyboard shortcut in the Keyboard Shortcutes dialog, that you can assign a key for.

Hi Hugo,

When snapping to the end of a clip using the playhead, move left one frame before marking an Out point. That is the case with all pro non-linear editing systems. I hope the info helps. To see exactly what's going on. zoom way in to the cut and note that the playhead consists of a needle and a "tail" to it. Glad you realized what was going on there and asked about it.

Thanks,

Kevin

Thank you very much @Kevin-Monahan  this is very helpful. I have now program a short cut to go back from one frame and then hit the "O" to get a true end point.

Hi @hugo_3385,

Welcome to the Premiere Pro forums. Premiere Pro has always worked this way. The playhead is at the "start" of the frame after your clip and it is what you are seeing on the Program monitor, as marked by the blue line on the time ruler at the top.

There's a couple of keyboard shortcuts that may help, depending on your keyboard layout (Premiere Pro > Keyboard Shortcuts...):

  • Forward slash "/" is "Mark Selection" which should create the in and out points to whatever clip/s you have selected, without that "offset".
  • You can also map your keyboard for "Go to Selected Clip End", which should also take you to the last frame of that clip.

Hope this helps!
Dani
