Question

Position keyframe not working with speed ramps or time remapping.

If you try to add a keyframe to a clip that has a speed ramp/time remapping, it does not work. Nesting the clip it's not a solution since we would get black areas when they're trying to reposition the clip. Changing the processor type in settings does not work either since I am on an M1 Mac. Has anyone found a solution to this bug?

Hi Pierce,

Have you tried changing position, then nesting, then adding the speed effects to the nest? Try it and let us know what happens.

Thanks,
Kevin

It works to do that, although that is a sh*t solution for software I pay $60/month for. Seems like this should've been fixed longgggg ago. Excuse my language but it's absurd that we deal with issues as basic as these for how much we pay Adobe.

Do the keyframing first, nest and add time remapping.

Or edit in original framesize (4K?) and afterward put it in the main timeline (2K?).
