Positioning the Parametric Equaliser editor panel

Having just discovered Parametric Equaliser, I would like to STOP it opening in the middle of my screen.

I'd like to place it out of the way as it keeps appaering over the timeline and it's annoying. I can drag it to my 2nd  screen, but each time I select another sequence, bang! Back to the in the way position.

Any suggestions?

Here's how to keep the effect window in your preferred position:

For Clip Effects:

  • Move the effect window to the position you prefer.
  • Go to the Effect Controls panel, select the effect name, click the context menu, and choose Save Preset. The preset will remember the position of the window with any clip.

For Track Effects:

  • If you move the effect window and close the effect, it will remember the position.
  • However, if you add the effect to a new track or copy the effect to a new track, it will forget the position.
  • The workaround is to minimize the effect window rather than closing it. This way, every time you open the effect on any track, it will open in the same position every time.

Paul

That's the rather annoying general practice for all the audio dialogs. And yea, it is annoying.

If anyone has a useful suggestion, I'd love to hear it.
