Post picture lock-syncing audio via timecode

Hi everyone,

So I did production sound for a short film a few monthes ago. Low budget thing so I supplied my own timecode equipment for free as ld also said I would do the post sound for some extra pennies (so obviously it's in my interests to make live as easy as possible). I told the director at a pre production meeting I'd be supplying tc as well.

So the film has been picture locked and it turns out that not only was the timecode ignored, but they havnt made any attempt to sync the audio at all. I'm getting a film that is just picture with scratch audio.

I can get hold of the premiere project and the fully timecoded source files.

Is there any way to get the production audio placed in automatically via timecode at this point in time?

Cheers everyone.

The camera media has the same timecode?

    Yeah everything is fully timecoded.

Thinking about it I can go through the premiere project and for every clip, bring in the raw audio from that slate/take and sync via the timecode for that individual clip, then trim the audio to the video.

Will just need to do it for every single clip in the film.
