PP 2015.4 crushes blacks PP 2017 does not

Hey guys,

I'm running into an issue where PP2015.4 interprets the original footage way to dark. It's not only interpreting it wrong, the data in de blacks can't be recovered, it's simply clipped. PP 2017 works and interprets the footage as it was shot however I would want to stay within PP 2015.4 since 2017 is buggy and unstable on my system. I tried proxies but all imported 10 bit footage is way too dark. See attachments.
Does anyone know why it reads the footage incorrect?
