PP 24 causes auto-save errors in Team Projects when opening the lumetri panel

Premiere Pro 24.0.3 (build 2)

Windows 11 22H2 64bit

I exclusively use Team Projects nowadays. I've noticed a decline in the performance of the Lumetri Panel since the release of version 24, until team project refuses to save anything as soon as any Lumetri panel is open.

Troubleshooting steps have already taken:
1) Switching between Colour settings in the "Team Project Settings" Window

2) Safe boot of Premiere pro, cleared media cache, preferences etc

3) updated all drivers in Windows

4) created a new team project and carried over all assets to the new project

I'm so tired of this program

Thanks for the invitation to your team Project. I was able to open it and created a duplicate for test purposes.
So far, I'm not able to reproduce the issue. As @Jagriti5CD5 mentions a video capture or a screenhshot might help to duplicate the circumstances that produce the error.
Also, could you create a memory dump file via the Task Manager of the PPRO process when the it's endlessly 'scanning for modified assets' and make it available to me?

Side Note: We've fixed some issues in that area in the forthcoming 24.1

Best,
Udo

Hi @Benji_Sensei , Thanks for reporting the issue, we are looking into it. It will be helpful if you could you also share recording showcasing the issue or steps to reproduce.

Thanks,
Jagriti

False Alarm! It is back to its old behavior, endlessly 'scanning for modified assets' which prevents me from saving the team project. This happens only when I open up the Lumetri colour panels

Thanks Udo_Pawlik

That did the trick! I went to the top menu bar Edit > Preferences > Auto Save > then clicked the browse button to locate my .tpr file for that one corrupted team project save file. Then it was a matter of creating a temp button where I could temporarily cut and paste the save file and finally open up the same Team project and switching to my colour Lumetri panels no longer causes auto-save errors and 'scanning for modified assets' loops.

thanks mate,

Hi @Benji_Sensei, it might help to refresh the local project file (.tpr) which can be found in the 'Auto Save' folder whose path is specified under the 'Auto Save’ preference for Team Projects. Close Premiere and move the existing ‘[projectName].tpr’ file to a temp location. Restart Premiere and open the troublesome Team Project, the .tpr file will be re-created based on the cloud version.

Do you mind inviting me [upawlik@adobe.com] to the Team Project in case you continue to see auto-save errors for debugging purpose?
