PP seems to export but AME doesn't receive it to encode it!... again

Hi,

I had a solution kindly given to this problem which worked for a while but I've tried to send various sequences for encoding over the last few days and it's not working again.

Also...

- PP is also regularly crashing and closing without any warning without being able to save my work (apart from autosave).

- PP is also regularly crashing when I do save my work too!

- It's been taking over 2 minutes to start PP. That's the length of time the splash screen appears and doesn't include the time it takes to load all my media.

I'm using...

PP CC 2019: Version 13.0.1 (Build 13)

AME CC 2019: Version 13.0.1 (Build 12)

Windows 10 Home 64bit (10.0, Build 17134)

Dell XPS8900 BIOS 2.4.0

Processor Intel Core i7-6700 CPU 3.40GHz (8CPUs) 3.4GHz

RAM 32768MB

GPU GeForce GTX745 (Driver 416.81) (11.08.2018)

I was advised to rename the AME folder "13.0" to "old13.0" and this worked!

So I've tried renaming any new 13.0 folder that keeps appearing to "old13.0a" and then "old13.0b" "...c" and "...d" but this solution doesn't work anymore.

I have also "trashed" PP preferences.

Very many thanks for any help you can give as I have some quite stressful deadlines to meet!

Very grateful to you!

Dan

I think at this point I would suggest using the Adobe CC Cleaner tool to do both the uninstall and the cleanup after of both PrPro & Me. The instructions say uninstall before Cleaner ... no: uninstall with the Cleaner. Then reboot the machine.

Open the CC Desktop app, and download/install both again. Reboot.

    Then see if it works.

Thanks so much yet again Neil!

Actually, I've just "trashed" the preferences and plugin cache again and hallelujah, it seems to be encoding!

    It's such a relief!

But, thank you for your advice about the Adobe CC Cleaner. I will keep your advice about this in case I have further issues.

Thank you so much for all your time and help. Really grateful to you.

If you have Me open when queuing over from PrPro, does that work?

And ... show a screen-grab of the Me window after queuing over, please ...

Very many thanks Neil for your reply.

Yes, I've tried having Me open and closed when queuing over from PrPro and it doesn't seem to make a difference.

Here's a screen shot you asked for.

    Many thanks for your consideration

Thanks for the screen-grab! I doubted it would necessarily solve the situation but I wanted the confirmation. Another recent post on this type of trouble was solved when the user realized he hadn't removed the previous exports in the queue that had been processed before ... and his more recent ones were down below the screen, and ... as soon as he hit the little arrow to resume the queue processing it was working.

Was of course a quick fix, and I was hoping. Sigh.

You've got some intriguing things going on there ... Wes Howell is one of the engineers, and has been on here with a couple other users with odd quirks like this. Maybe he can find a moment to pop in ...
