PP unusable since update on Win 10

I'm dead in the water since updating a couple days ago. I have a powerful desktop machine dedicated to editing music and video and PP simply freezes within a min of launch. Also, keyframes and motions don't work. Playback, nothing. PP is unusable 100%. I uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted several times. No luck. This hurts.

UPDATE: still investigating my issue. Leaning towrds it being machine specific seeing that I've received no responses. This machine has been flawless for 3+ years until now but it might be a conflict with an audio driver of all things.
