PP version 25.2.3 stalls on Sony A7s3 video import

Anyone else having this issue? I am trying to import video from my Mac HD, but PP seems to stall -- even when trying to import a single video file. I've never had this problem before.

I even uninstalled and reinstalled the program, and even cleared the media cache and the problem presists.

File type is h.264.

computer type: M1 Max, 32GB ram.

Hi Kevin, I've seemed to fix the issue. I had to un-install a Sony Catalyst plug-in and everything imported just fine.

Thanks for the message. The issue does sound unusual. Does Premiere Pro have any trouble importing other formats you have on hand? If not, give us precise specs of the media. Is it 4:2:2 10-bit? Is it 4K? Let us know so we can test it out from our end.
